Stephen Davies

Biography

Stephen is a GDC registered Specialist in Restorative Dentistry and a Lecturer in Occlusal and Temporomandibular Studies at the University of Manchester. He is Lead Clinician [Education] of the TMD clinic at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester. He has been the Academic Lead of the MSc in Advanced Restorative Dentistry, and lectures on 3 of the UoM MSc programs. Most recently he has written and provided a new undergraduate curriculum on Occlusion in Restorative Dentistry, Management of the Worn Dentition, Bruxism and TMDs. He is a founder member of the European Academy of Orofacial Pain and Dysfunction. He has published over 60 papers in referred journals, including recently:

He currently works at a Speciality Practice, in Wilmslow, accepting referrals of patients suffering from suspected TMD and/or a degree of occlusal difficulty. He joined the Clinic 334 team after over 40 years of working in his own primary care general practice.


He maintains a keen interest in primary care dentistry and is a Fellow of CGDent.
