Course Information

Session 3: Preparation, decontamination and obturation; in this session we will review the importance of the glide path, the principles of rotary instrumentation as well as reflect upon hand instrumentation as a means to facilitate irrigation before discussing the most important component of endodontic treatment; irrigant regimens. Finally, this session will review key obturation strategies. (HANDS ON: access, instrumentation with a range of rotary files and obturation with access to warm vertical condensation) Session 4: Outcomes, problem solving and managing failure; in this session we will look at some of the key complications that may occur, what factors contribute to success, and why some cases fail and what options are available manage failure.
